e- Commerce & Digital (e-C&D) is a cross business (GBL) department, responsible for driving the electronification and digitalization of Global Markets. Within the e-Commerce space our focus is to manage the evolution and the enhancement of our electronic platforms (SDP. MDP, Portal, Sales Tools), with a Business objective to increase our footprint, provide efficiency to our clients and our Sales teams. We are also in charge of driving the Digital transformation of GM and are directly responsible for monitoring, coordinating and delivering new digital products and services leveraging the GM LAB and Fintechs.

Your Main Activities Are

Your role as Data Analyst is to:

  • Produce monthly and quarterly activity and usage reports across our platforms and business lines
  • Gather requirements and prioritise Data Analytics work for eC&D
  • Ensure availability and consistency of the data set
  • Perform analysis for platforms’ owners to understand trends and activity
  • Engage with business, product management GCA and the GM LAB team when needed
  • Help manage and organise Telemetry Data analysis for the eC&D Product Team
  • Engage with IT teams to ensure relevant Telemetry data points are collected within eCommerce applications to perform needed analysis
  • Logical and clear thinking with good understanding of Technology - Some experience of coding/scripting an advantage
  • Enthusiastic data expert

You will work closely with the Digital Teams in the different business lines (Global Macro, Global Credit and Global Equities), the Digital product management team in London and Lisbon and will work closely with the Client Analytics team that is managing our dataset and infrastructure as well as with the Global Markets Quant LAB team.

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Prior experience in a Client/Data Analytics type of set up would be highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets is clearly a plus
  • Understanding of data driven strategy
  • Advanced level of Tableau
  • Expert MS office proficiency (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • Basic skills in Python
  • Interest in financial markets and continually learning and staying abreast of new developments. Good appreciation of economics and market dynamics, with enough understanding to present views on market conditions and trends
  • Detail oriented and thoroughly reviews documents and information.
  • Adheres to deadlines according to established procedures/rules. Accurately follows processes required in their work.
  • Ability to collaborate/teamwork
  • Assumes an active role in implementing new or innovative ideas, solutions, approaches and methods, testing them and suggesting improvement when relevant. Shows curiosity in order to develop new ideas and different approaches
  • Contributes to brainstorming sessions in order to find creative solutions or generate new ideas
  • Capacity to coordinate and manage the constraints of a wide range of diverse stakeholders across the bank
